The Indian Business Process Outsourcing Service sector has been charting a course of heavy growth. The heartening fact is that, even though this industry is relatively young; it has been maturing rapidly by enhancing the service offerings and increasing the scale of operations. This exhilarating and accelerated growth coupled with other environment factors like competition, foreign currency fluctuations, attrition etc. throw its fair share of challenges for the industry.
Growth feeds on sustained competitive advantage that in turn is dependent on continued innovation. One such opportunity to innovate lies in the recruitment process followed by most of us. Also it is a business imperative that we have access to efficient online tools that enable pre-hire preliminary security check like accuracy of CV’s presented to the recruiters. This will ensure better-informed decision making by the recruiters prior to selection of prospective candidates.
It is against this background that Business Process Industry Association Of India (BPIAI) in association with CII invites all Heads of HR from the BPO companies to the HR Forum to be held on 18 February 2008 at CII, Conference Room, Gurgaon from 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs followed by hi- tea.
The idea is to review and participate in a special web based initiative, which is designed to strengthen retention from Pre-Hire Stage itself and execute recruitment process more effectively.
Key Take Away:
- The P&L of BPO companies have approximately 55% as HR cost.
- An opportunity to collectively maximize savings from Rs.1000+ Crores per annum on account of avoidable resource churn
- Gain from productivity & performance enhancement from stable workforce
- Cost effective and time saving web based secure tool Preview
